Pastor Fred D. Moore has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Alabama, a Masters in Education from Alabama State University, and a Masters in Theology from Birmingham Theological Seminary. He obtained his administrative certification from Alabama State University in 2006. Pastor Moore is the former president of River City Ministry Alliance, and past president of Demopolis Federal Credit Union. In addition, he is a past board member for the Demopolis Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, Pastor Moore is the principal at Uniontown Elementary School. He is a part time professor for the Birmingham Theological Seminary and serves on the board of Braxton’s Senior Daycare. He serves on the board for the Department of Human Resources dealing with child abuse. Pastor Moore was also featured in Alabama’s Public Television documentary on Black Credit Unions in 2005.
A true man of God, he has served as pastor of The Christian Chapel Baptist Church since 1985. Along with his family, wife Loretta and children, Loreal, Fred, Jr, and Malik, he has been a driving force in our community as well as surrounding communities.
